Sidewalk Chalk
For our first project in e9 we had groups of four. Each person chose one symbol that represents them. Before drawing with the chalk we had to make a sketch of what we were going to draw. The symbols we had to work with were a shield, a lion, a snake and the yin yang. It wasn't easy to combine any of those things but we did.

We ended up making the shield the base of it all, while the lion, yin yang, and snake were on the shield. The lion at the top was he best place, "in our eyes" to put it at the top of the shield. In the middle of the shield was the yin yang and the snake. The snake was the line that separated the sun and moon sides.
